FAQ
I am here to answer all of your questions
Do you use cry-it-out?
No. My approach is gentle, respectful, and responsive. I never ask you to leave your child to cry without support. Instead, we’ll work together to find a sleep solution that feels right for your child and aligns with your parenting values.
What age should I start sleep support?
You can begin as early as the newborn stage! While I don’t offer sleep training for babies under 4 months, I do provide foundational guidance to help you understand newborn sleep and build healthy habits early on. For structured sleep training, I work with babies 14 weeks and older.
What is sleep training?
Sleep training is the process of helping a baby or child learn to fall asleep independently and sleep for longer stretches. It involves creating a consistent bedtime routine, setting up a sleep-friendly environment, and using age-appropriate strategies to encourage self-soothing.
How long does sleep training take?
It varies! Some babies adjust within 3–5 nights, while others may take 1–2 weeks. The timeline depends on the method used, your child’s temperament, and consistency. With support and a solid plan, most families start seeing progress within a few days.
Can you work with families outside of Florida?
Absolutely. My services are 100% virtual, so I work with families across the U.S. and internationally. No matter where you are, I’m just a video call away.
What kind of support will I receive?
You’ll receive daily support throughout your package—7 days a week. That includes message check-ins, sleep log reviews, real-time adjustments, and step-by-step guidance. I’m with you the whole way.
What types of sleep issues can you help with?
I help families address challenges like frequent night wakings, short naps, bedtime resistance, early morning wake-ups, and nap transitions. I also support crib-to-bed transitions, regressions, and separation anxiety—creating a custom plan that works for your unique family.
What if I need more time after the program ends?
No problem! You can add an extra week of support or book a 30-minute troubleshooting call anytime. My add-ons offer flexibility without the commitment of a full new package.
What if my child is transitioning from a crib to a bed?
That’s exactly what my Toddler & Preschooler Sleep Program is designed for. I’ll help you through this milestone with strategies to manage bedtime resistance, anxiety, and boundary testing—while keeping things calm and consistent.
Will I be left to figure it out alone at bedtime?
Not at all. I offer First Night Bedtime Support with optional monitor viewing—so you’ll feel supported in real time as you begin implementing your new routine.
What makes your support different from online courses or books?
I don’t give you a generic plan and wish you luck. I provide personalized, hands-on support tailored to your child’s temperament, your parenting style, and your specific goals. We’ll walk through everything together—so you’re never left guessing.
Will I have to stop feeding at night?
Not unless you’re ready. I’ll never ask you to night-wean unless it’s developmentally appropriate and aligns with your goals. We’ll honor your child’s needs and your feeding preferences while improving sleep.
Will my baby cry?
Some crying may happen—that’s natural during change. But I never ask you to leave your baby to cry alone. The methods I use are gentle and supportive, with you providing comfort along the way. My goal is to minimize stress while helping your baby develop self-soothing skills in a secure, loving way.
How does virtual support work?
We’ll connect via video calls, emails, and messaging (or Voxer if you prefer voice notes). I review your sleep logs, answer questions, and guide you step-by-step. You’ll feel like I’m right there beside you—even from miles away.
I’m already overwhelmed—will this add more stress?
I hear you—and that’s exactly why I’ve designed this support to feel like a relief, not a burden. I break things down into simple steps, go at your pace, and help you feel empowered, not exhausted.
Can both parents be involved?
Yes! I welcome both parents—and even other caregivers—to join consultations. Sleep success is a team effort, and it’s best when everyone is on the same page.
